Sorry I haven't been able to blog. I'm an extremely busy person and have a hard time sitting down to blog to people I don't know. Well I thought today's class was very interesting. You don't really think about the different efforts that go in to making a film. After our discussion on the continuity editing and establishing shots, I know I'm going to be more conscious of camera angles in movies from now on. I was already noticing it on some television shows and it's amazing how they all focus outside of whereever you're going to enter or exit next. I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for the 360 degree angle that Andrew was talking about from the Gap commercial and the Matrix. I think that now knowing how they actually do it will make me appreciate the camera movement even more. It's amazing how just the angles of the camera affect us emotionally.
